Adam Levine Referenced in Universal Music Publishing Group Lawsuit

Adam Levine

Adam Levine (among others) was named in a lawsuit aimed at Universal Music Publishing Group by a disgruntled employee speaking out against marijuana use in the studio. The 41-year old security guard that formerly worked for UMPG claims the company fired her due to her vocal rejection of drug use in the workplace by musicians.

The plaintiff named Adam Levine, Jamie Foxx, Macy Gray, and T.I. in her complaints, even insisting that the company provided musicians with candles and incense to help eliminate the smell. UMPG tells Celebrity Cafe: “While we cannot comment on the allegations between the plaintiff and her employer, we can say that the allegations as they relate to Universal Music Group are absurd.”
