Singer Bobby Brown was charged with three misdemeanor counts on Wednesday following his arrest in LA. He faces one count of driving under the influence, one count of driving with a blood-alcohol level of over .08%, and one count of driving on a suspended license. Brown’s license was suspended last year due to his failure to appear in court over a speeding ticket.
If Brown is convicted of all three charges, he could face up to a maximum of one year in county jail.
Officers originally pulled Brown over for talking on his cell phone while driving, but they immediately administered a field sobriety test due to his behavior. The charge came only four days after the release of ex-wife Whitney Houston’s autopsy results.
