Charles Manson’s Request for Parole Denied

In another bid for freedom, mass murderer Charles Manson made an appeal for parole. The parole board denied Manson’s request.

The parole hearing took place at Corcoran State Prison, the jail where Manson has been held since his 1969 conviction in seven murders. He has been denied parole 11 times prior to his latest attempt.

At age 77, this claim for parole will likely be his last. The murderer will not be able to make another appeal for parole for at least 15 years. Manson was originally sentenced for death for his crimes, but he was spared due to the declaration that the death penalty was unconstitutional in California.
