Charlie Sheen says he plans to file a lawsuit to root out the source of rumors that he trashed
a hotel room at The Ritz-Carlton New York.
The alleged incident occurred in late June when Sheen was in New York doing press for his new FX show “Anger Management.”
Despite the rumors, a hotel bill obtained by celebrity news website TMZ shows that there were no charges on Sheen’s bill related to any damage to the room. Neighbors at the Ritz said they didn’t hear anything like a party coming from Sheen’s room.
Additionally, while reports were that he had been banned from the hotel, a spokesperson for the Ritz says that they would be happy to host him anytime.
Sheen is working with his lawyers to plan a strategy for a defamation lawsuit
against a magazine that published the reports of the hotel rampage.
