Jordan Hill Booked and Released After Being Charged with Felony Assault

Los Angeles Lakers forward Jordan Hill has been released after being booked and charged with felony assault. The charges against Hill state that he beat and choked his girlfriend in February during a domestic dispute.

Hill made an appearance in Houston to face the charges. The judge set the bond at $5,000, which Hill immediately paid. He was released with no travel restrictions; however, he was barred from contacting or going near his ex.

Hill, who is 24, has been in the NBA for three seasons after a lottery pick in the 2009 draft by the New York Knicks.
