Justin Bieber and his former bodyguard have reached a settlement on their legal dispute. Bieber’s ex-bodyguard had claimed the pop star attacked him backstage at a concert.
Moshe Benabou said the incident occurred in October of 2012 in his lawsuit filed in January of 2013. Bieber allegedly punched Benabou in the chest and upper body area. Justin Bieber believed Moshe Benabou was trying to keep one member of the singer’s entourage away from him.
The lawsuit was set to go to trial in Los Angeles later in February. A lawyer for Justin Bieber said that the case had been resolved with both parities satisfied with the outcome.
Justin Bieber has been involved in other legal woes over the last few months. The pop star was arrested in Toronto last week over claims he assaulted his limousine driver in December. In addition, Bieber got into trouble in Miami Beach in January for drunk driving, resisting arrest and driving with an expired license.
