LinkedIn Sued by Customers for Alleged Hacking

LinkedIn is currently one of the world’s strongest networking sites for business, and now the empire is under fire for allegedly hacking the e-mails of its users for their contact lists.

A group of users claim the company “appropriated their identities for marketing purposes by hacking into their external e-mail accounts and downloading contacts’ addresses,” according to Bloomberg. The group states, “LinkedIn’s own website contains hundreds of complaints regarding this practice.”

LinkedIn denies all allegations. Guilty or not, it seems they may be facing a serious legal battle.
