Netflix Settles Suit, Debuts Show to Pleased Audiences

Netflix just admitted to settling a privacy violation lawsuit with a $9 million payment. The suit was submitted in January last year.

While this might not be a proud moment for the company, Netflix does have a few things to be excited about. First, the television and film rental company just saw a great fourth quarter, ending with more subscribers than ever.

The company also just debuted “Lilyhammer,” its first original show, last week. They released all eight episodes of the drama, which stars Steve Van As a New York mobster. Each episode is 50 minutes long.
