Ravi found Guilty of All charges in Rutgers Hate Crime Case


Dharun Ravi was charged with 15 criminal hate crimes and using a webcam to spy on his roommate’s intimate interactions with another man. As a result of Ravi’s actions, his Rutgers University roommate Tyler Clementi jumped to his death from the George Washington Bridge in 2010.

The jury has reached a verdict in the trial; Ravi has been found guilty on all 15 counts and will await sentencing from the judge. He faces up to 10 years in a state prison.
