Sensa Diet Product Targeted by FTC

Sensa, a popular diet product for those looking to lose weight, has been targeted by the FTC for making “claims that simply aren’t supported by the evidence.” Sensa is also under scrutiny for failing to disclose the fact that it paid for publicized endorsements.

Sense will refund $26.5M to customers and must now provide evidence that the product works as advertised. Though the company has reportedly invested millions in the product and its testing, it seems they will make changes to their advertising campaign moving forward.
