The singer-song writer Frank Ocean, had a damper on his New Year’s Eve festivities when he was pulled over in a routine traffic stop for speeding. The police in Mono County, California added a second charge to the list, when Ocean, driving his BMW at the time of the stop, was found to be driving with a suspended license. After smelling pot smoke coming from the vehicle, officers found him in possession of a little bag of marijuana. Additionally his windows were tinted beyond the legal limit. Officers released Ocean, only after confiscating his license. Ocean’s camp has only responded to the allegations via his tweets, in which he comments, “I smoke pot,” and attests to driving fast.
